Community Guidelines
Hang-Out is built to help people meet, connect, and enjoy real-life social experiences in a safe and welcoming way. These guidelines help keep every hangout respectful, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone.
Be respectful
Treat every member with kindness, patience, and respect. Avoid rude comments, offensive jokes, discrimination, harassment, or behavior that makes others feel uncomfortable.
Be honest
Use your real information when signing up. Be truthful about your interests, availability, and preferences so we can create better group matches.
Keep it safe
Meet only at the confirmed public hangout location. Do not pressure anyone to share personal details, change locations, or meet privately outside the planned group experience.
Show up on time
If you confirm a hangout, please arrive on time. If you can no longer attend, let us know as early as possible so we can manage the group fairly.
Respect boundaries
Everyone connects at their own pace. Do not pressure others for contact details, social profiles, photos, dates, or future plans.
Be inclusive
Hang-Out is for people from different backgrounds, personalities, and lifestyles. Welcome others with an open mind and help create a friendly group atmosphere.
Keep communication appropriate
Use polite and friendly communication before, during, and after hangouts. Harassment, threatening language, spam, or unwanted messages are not allowed.
Follow the venue rules
Respect the rules of cafés, restaurants, parks, or any other hangout location. Members are responsible for their own purchases, travel, and personal belongings.
Report concerns
If something feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or inappropriate, contact the Hang-Out team. We review concerns seriously and may remove members who violate these guidelines.
Our right to protect the community
Hang-Out may pause, suspend, or cancel a member’s access if they break these guidelines or behave in a way that affects the safety or comfort of others.
